My name is Regina Gullette. I am a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor with a Clinical Supervisor endorsement (LICDC-CS), Master Addiction Counselor (MAC) and Substance Abuse Professional (SAP). I use an eclectic approach to counseling, cognitive behavioral therapy, ecological theory, narrative theory, and real-life experiences. I earned a Ph.D. in Psychology and MS in Psychology from Capella University, and a BS in Organizational Management from Wilberforce University. I aspire to create person-centered learning environments so students can be in control of own learning. I take pleasure in spending time with my family and friends, reading, and traveling.

Your instructor should possess the qualities that promote passion and expertise in sharing actual experience with clients! I enjoy all aspects of teaching, motivating students and clients to reach their potential, and sharing my 25 years of professional experiences. Anyone can read a textbook out loud in a lecture,but my goal is to bring the information to “life!” As a current Master’s level addiction counselor (MAC) in private practice along with a history of clinical supervision of interns in the outpatient and correctional systems, my classes will stimulate your creative mind. Additionally, you will be prepared to excel in your licensure/certification process. I look forward to meeting you!

Herbert J. Sablan

Mr. Sablan has gained professional experience working in the social service system initially in the Maricopa County in Arizona and transitioned to Saipan, Commonwealth of the Northern Marianas Islands for a total of 14 years. Mr. Sablan earned his Bachelor’s of Social Work from Arizona State University in 2007 and gained his Masters of Social Work degree from Walden University in 2017.

Within the last 10 years, Mr. Sablan had gained proficiency to be able to lead as the Clinical Supervisor for the Commonwealth Healthcare Corporation, Community Guidance Center’s Treatment and Recovery Clinic. Since March of 2010, Mr. Sablan joined and pursued efforts to provide direct services to adults and youth affected by substance use disorders. Mr. Sablan was able to help facilitate a pathway of health, wellness and recovery for individuals and families empowered to take charge of their journey.

Dr. Joshua John Curry

Dr. Curry holds north of twenty total licenses and board-certifications across several different credentialing boards. Dr. Curry is knowledgeable when it comes to the implementation of treatment-related interventions: such as Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Psycho-education. He is passionate about the work that is carried out in the substance abuse // mental health (co-occurring treatment) field, and always the willingness to share his experiences and intellect with other practitioners. Dr. Curry is excellent with making certain other professionals he has interaction with leaves him with an increased level of motivation, competence, and confidence needed to fulfill their professional responsibilities as thoroughly as possible.

Asia’s experience has offered her the privilege of treating individuals from diverse backgrounds and all walks of life. In her spare time, Asia enjoys reading, watching basketball or soccer and trying new foods.

Naziat Hassan

My name is Naziat Hassan. I have my BA in Psychology and Biology from Queens College at the City University of New York as well as an MS in Mental Health Counseling from Hunter College at the City University of New York. I have been working in the mental health field, treating diverse, vulnerable populations with mental health disorders and substance abuse disorders for over 8 years now. I have worked in a residential substance abuse treatment program as well as outpatient mental health clinics. I work to meet my clients’ needs and use an eclectic approach, but my theoretical framework is founded in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Rational Emotive Therapy, and real-life experiences. I am passionate about teaching and training new counselors. I believe in not only delivering content but ensuring that my students are motivated and can apply the content in the work that they do. I am excited to be working with you and treading on this journey together!

I am a Canadian Certified Addictions Counselor (CCAC) and Internationally Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (ICADC) that has a passion for helping people. I am a clinical supervisor and currently run a house for women. My passion lies in education and helping others succeed. My specialties are case management and clinical documentation along with all of the therapies and understanding team dynamics. My clinical supervisor (CCS-AC) role has allowed me to provide direct supervisor and practicum experience to all new students seeking to become Canadian Counselors and meet the stringent requirements set forth by the board.
